Child Care Resource & Referral – provides individualized referrals to child care homes, centers, unlicensed registered ministries, pre-schools, and school-age programs. Free training opportunities available for parents and child care/youth development professionals on topics related to child development, child care licensing and best practices for the field. Tracks data on child care trends and resource development for identified areas of need. Increases awareness of the importance of quality child care, providing tools for families to use in choosing a quality child care environment, which include the state-wide quality rating system, Paths to QUALITY.
