    Kaylee Bauserman

Kaylee Bauserman of St. John's Lutheran School is the local winner of Indiana Association of Cities and Town's "If I Were Mayor, I would...." Contest. The popular contest asks 6th grade students to voice their opinion about local government and what they would do if they were mayor. As Seymour's winner, Kaylee will be "Mayor for the Day" on June 11th and will have lunch with Mayor Luedeman.

Kaylee was also one of eight regional winners for the state and was recognized at the Indiana Conference of Mayors on May 29 at French Lick. Her parents, William and Clara Bauserman, her teacher, Mrs. Wright, and principal, Mrs. Rohr, accompanied her. She is pictured above receiving her award from Mayor Craig Luedeman.
